National Park After Dark, November 1st

Welcome to National Park After Dark, a podcast for the morbid enthusiast. Hosted by two friends who share a passion for public lands and a fascination with what can go wrong there, each week hosts Danielle and Cassie explore the darker side of our National Parks. But it isn’t always chills and thrills. By sharing inspiring tales and their desire to protect our planet’s wild places, they hope listeners will be inspired to take a walk into the wild and create meaningful adventures of their own.

Samantha Fish, November 22nd

Samantha Fish is a two-time GRAMMY-nominated guitarist, singer, and songwriter widely recognized as one of the leading artists in contemporary blues and roots music. A Kansas Music Hall of Fame inductee and multiple Blues Music Awards winner, she is celebrated for her electrifying guitar playing, powerhouse vocals, and emotionally charged songwriting. Through relentless touring and a string of critically acclaimed releases, Fish has built an international audience, with all nine of her albums landing on the Billboard Blues Albums chart. A commanding live performer, she has toured extensively around the world, appeared at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, shared stages with artists including Slash and The Rolling Stones, and performed at Crossroads Guitar Festival. Whether on record or onstage, Fish continues to expand the reach of modern blues while forging a powerful connection with audiences worldwide.

Jim James, December 6th

For more than 25 years, Jim James has proven himself among the most adventurous artists in 21st century rock music. The Louisville, KY-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has captained My Morning Jacket through seismic transformations and restless explorations as they grew from southern misfits to one of the most acclaimed and beloved bands of their generation. At the same time, James has crafted an ancillary catalog of his own, including the soon-to-be-released Wowed Out. His fourth solo studio LP of original songs, and first in eight years, the visionary album sees him transforming a vast archive of music originally composed for two major film-scoring projects in the early 2010s into a luminous, immersive new work of soulful psychedelia.

Engelbert Humperdinck, December 6th

Engelbert exploded on to the music scene with The Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The shy handsome man catapulted almost instantly to world icon. He became great friends with Elvis and the two legends often performed each other’s songs. His first single in the charts was “Release Me,” which went into the Guinness Book of Records for achieving 56 consecutive weeks on the charts. It was No. 1 in 11 countries. The following decades see Engelbert constantly touring the world to sell-out crowds. He takes great pleasure in every moment on stage.
